Now in their 23rd year, Fix-It Fairs are FREE events designed to help Portland residents save money, live healthier and connect to valuable resources. Fix-It Fair offers day-long exhibits, hourly how-to classes and free giveaways. Three fairs are available this winter season at various locations around the city.
Locations and Dates:
- November 21, Roosevelt High School, 6941 N Central Street, Portland. Workshops will be offered in both Spanish and English at this event.
- January 9, David Douglas High School, 1001 SE 135th Avenue, Portland
- January 30, Parkrose High School, 12003 NE Shaver Street, Portland
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Day long exhibits and hourly workshops provide information and resources for:
* water & energy savings,
* home & personal health,
* food & nutrition,
* community resources,
* recycling & yard care,
* lead testing & more!
Fix-It Fairs are presented by the City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability in partnership with other City bureaus, Energy Trust of Oregon, Pacific Power, Portland General Electric and the Portland Housing Bureau.
