WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS: Jimmy Wilson called the meeting to order at 7:02pm

REVIEW MEETING AGREEMENTS: Jimmy reviewed the meeting agreements.

APPROVE MINUTES FROM JUNE 17 MEETING: Jennifer Wilcox made a motion to approve the minutes from the July 17 board meeting. Laura Fay seconded. The motion passed unanimously.

NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY UPDATE AND NEXT STEPS: Bobby Hamiton, Safe Blocks Program Coordinator, gave an update on the work that he and Mary have undertaken.

REPORT ON THE AUGUST 11 LEGAL CLINIC: Bliss Suh reported on the expungement fair. Moving forward, they hope to hold clinics at least quarterly.

NEIGHBORHOOD UPDATES
Eliot News: Jennifer asks us to consider putting 10 minutes on the agenda at our next meeting to consider the future of the neighborhood newsletter. She reminds us that this is the way ENA raises funds; without it we have no other income stream.

Treasurer’s Report: Jennifer reported that ENA has $4,022.85 in the bank. We will have $1,000 coming in from Metropolitan Public Defenders.

LUTC Update: Andrew Champion shared on behalf of the LUTC that there was no meeting last week.

Community Outreach: Etheric McFarlane and Shireen McFArlane shared their interest in hiring a grantwriter.

PUBLIC COMMENT: A conversation ensued about how to request, and how to deliver, services for people needing help on Stanton Street. Jimmy noted that Commissioner Jayapal and DA Schmidt will attend September’s ENA meeting.
