All are expected to be new tenants in the re-purposed Trade Bindery building on NE Schuyler between NE 1st and 2nd. In fact, the Community Cycling Center moved their administrative office around the first of March (their storefront on Alberta is unaffected).
Remodeling is currently underway in the remaining spaces. The conversion of existing warehouses to new uses is how underdeveloped property revitalizes neighborhoods. This is what happened along both Mississippi and Williams. Typically, a pioneer developer takes a risk with the first development and gradually others follow. The half block to the east, where the Social Security office is currently, recently sold for a price that suggests it may be the next redevelopment target. If so, this may be the start of a major transformation of the area.
