Portland Development Commission has published a video on YouTube about the Dawson Park Gazebo renovation.  The video shows a brief history of the structure and some footage of the construction.

Planning and design for the renovation began in 2006 after a 2004 assessment determined the gazebo was badly in need of repair. Renovation construction started in March 2008 and was completed just in time for the Dawson Park summer concerts in July.  The gazebo was “rededicated” on July 16th.
