Are you tired of looking at the graffiti in the neighborhood? If so, do something about it! The Eliot Neighborhood Association in partnership with the City of Portland Office of Neighborhood Involvement Graffiti Abatement program is cleaning up graffiti in Eliot on Saturday September 25th. Show up at 8:30 AM at Dreamers Marketplace, 2737 NE Martin Luther King, ready to help. Coffee from Goldrush Coffee Bar and light refreshments will be provided. The Graffiti Abatement program will supply cleaning materials.
City contracted crews will focus on paint-out or power wash removals on private property while volunteers (that’s you!) will remove graffiti from properties “in the right-of-way”, including utility poles, dumpsters, newspaper boxes, etc. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-552-8678 to volunteer. Volunteers must sign a volunteer agreement form.
Help make your neighborhood a better place!
