LUTC Minutes 2012-10-15

DRAFT – NOT YET APPROVED

Eliot LUTC notes for 10/15/12
Taken by Allan Rudwick, Vice Chair
Allan called the meeting to order at 6:40
In attendance- Lee, Pamela and another Legacy representative (I didn’t get her information)
they are finished with all of the gating items for approval of the children’s hospital except turning the ‘hill block’ back to grass.  There was discussion of turning it into an athletic field since they don’t have plans to build on the next 15-20 years.
Slow progress on the lot conversion from IR to industrial west of Kerby- expensive and doesn’t seem like it will impact the neighborhood much.

In order to help them facilitate on-street retail adjacent to institutional buildings, we need to get this feedback to the Institutional PEG of the Portland plan.

Other business-
Allan will send his letter as a private citizen
Talked briefly about the Bakery block 194-unit building proposed at Cook and Williams
Meeting adjourned at 7:20
